Making a bear from start to finish is a wonderful experience. It is
a total giving of yourself, not only in the labor, but also of your
heart. I sew the eyes on first so the bear can watch as I stitch
it's nose and if I am very alone and very lucky I hear many bear
secrets gently whispered in the quiet of the day.
