New from "A Journey of the Heart". New From "A Journey of the Heart": Our very first Raggedy doll "Pink Peony Annie". I have always had a soft spot for Raggedy Ann dolls. Their simple innocent look has always comforted my heart and soul. They remind me of a Teddy Bear; Forever your Friend. This month we are introducing a brand new line of Sweet Annie's. There will Eight Annie's offered over the next few months. If you purchase all Eight of our Annie's your ninth, a Christmas Annie, will be OUR GIFT free to you. Each doll in this adorable collection will be totally different. Different Sizes, different Faces, Hair and Costumes. All will be unique and have all of the special Chris Miller touches that you love. There will even be an Eight-inch Annie with a tiny wardrobe of clothes. Our very first in this edition is the adorable Pink Peony Annie. I have created Pink Peony using muslin that has been bathed in a wash of tea and vanilla. She has a soft look and smells like a Sugar Cookie :) Her face was hand embroidered using embroidery floss and Pink Linen Thread. Her Hair was also created with Pink Linen Thread. It ties into two Ponies with strips of rose checked fabric. Pink Peony wears a dress of rose Gingham. The skirt is pieced with strips of lovely white chenille printed with pale pink chenille roses and Rose Gingham. It is so sweet and old fashioned. Her sleeves are trimmed in Venice lace. The bodice is embellished with a sweet pink silk Peony flower and tiny Rosettes of White, Pink and Fuchsia. They tie with a pale green Embroidery Floss Bow. I have created her Striped Legs and Sweet Cheeks using a Dry Brush-Paint technique. She wears Black Mary Jane shoes. They are embellished with tiny Rosettes. She arrives with a Garden Picket Fence Hang Tag with her name tucked inside. I absolutely LOVE HER!!!!! I can just see her sitting on an old trunk, bed or mantel with all of her upcoming collection of friends. She will also be hand signed and arrive with a Certificate of Authenticity. |
